Build Your Business & The Kingdom The Build It Broadcast: Episode 5DOWNLOAD The "Impact & Influence Assessment" HERE Last time we talked about being disciplined in order to be able to have a positive impact on others. It’s important to be disciplined, to be mindful of how we come across to others, and it’s also important to make sure that our motives are right. And we also talked about chasing money and how that rarely works out over time. You must be clear on the reason you are doing – or not doing – what you’re doing in your business. Some people call this your ‘why’. That means you must keep your dreams and goals in front of you. Write them out and put them on your desk. Better yet, get a poster board and put your life and business goals where you see them every single day. You can also trick your mind by moving the board around if you get too used to seeing it in one place. It’s amazing to see how much of a difference that can make.
Once you have your number one reason clear and can not only verbalize that reason, but also see it in your mind - visualize it, you will be much closer to success. Not only is work important to God, but you’ll also spend roughly 90,000 hours on the job. During your time in business, you can strive to glorify God in your work (see 1 Cor. 10:31) or you can wake up close to retirement with the realization that you squandered away so much of your precious time. As Darren Hardy says, “One step. That’s all it takes. Start today. Whatever grand goal you have. Break inertia and take a single step…today.” That ever powerful one step. Take it now; commit to it now; clarify it now. Let go of whatever is holding you back. Make an impact on others for Christ and watch how successful you become! Thank you so much for joining us today!
